As if the land itself were writing its identity.
The project starts from a rectangular prism: perpendicular lines and right angles that speak of strength, stability and majesty, of the State's deep roots in the land and its rich Arab history. Vertical lines cut into it like roots emerging from underground and always returning to it.
From that mass, Arabic letters emerge: the identity of a people and their cultural legacy, in the timeless language of Arabic poetry.
Flowing curves translate the land's topography and the movement of the dunes. The vertical mass rises from the earth, a symbol of origin and permanence, and the curve wraps around it following the contours of the ground; on the opposite side it fades into the landscape, like the continuous flow of vehicles, trade and connections across the Gulf region.
The union of mass and curve brings together strength, identity and movement: the permanence of the script with the fluidity of the landscape.
